GREEN BAY — On Saturday, the Green Bay Packers hosted the Battle of The Badges between six teams: three police teams and three fire department teams.
The tournament is aimed at building relationships between the departments and honoring their service.
"The event itself was an appreciation of it to show our appreciation and gratitude to our first responders who put their lives on the line for us, we often don't know sometimes and take for granted," said Ryan Fencl, Packers Football Outreach Specialist.
The event was postponed, but they hope to play again to raise money for first responders.
