GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — The local organization We All Rise is hosting a school supply drive and clothing drive all this week.

The group is asking for hand sanitizer, face masks, notebooks, folders, pens, loose leaf paper and other essentials. Organizers say it makes a big difference to kids knowing they have what they need to succeed in class.

"So they won't have the pressure of going to school and asking the teacher 'I don't have this...'. So that's why I'm really glad that we are doing this drive for our community and for our kids. Because that's really the most important part. It's about them at the end of the day," said Youth Coordinator Keshelle Anderson.

The organization is currently running low on folders, notebooks and pens.

If you want to help, please drop off supplies at We All Rise, or they will pick up if you don't feel safe enough coming to their location. If you need supplies, call ahead so they can get their care package together; you just walk in and pick it up.
