GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — A house fire late Friday night displaced six people and caused an estimated damage of $175,000.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department said the fire happened on the 400 block of Simonet Street.
Firefighters said the flames extended into the first and second floors as well as to an adjacent home. Crews were able to put out the fire and have it under control within an hour.
According to the Department, everyone in the building were able to safely evacuate before help arrived. Two adults and four children are displaced due to the fire.
The fire is still under investigation. No further information was provided at this time.
