GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Wednesday was Veterans Day and to celebrate Green Bay city leaders held a special ceremony outside the Neville Museum.
The ceremony happened this morning at the Veterans Park. It was a tribute to the men and women who served our country especially the ones from Northeast Wisconsin.
"The more active that people can become on a day like this in service to the veterans, the better off we're all going to be. So that's the idea," said veteran Rick Philipps.
The group organizing the event says they hope others take the time to thank those who served.
