MANITOWOC, Wis. (NBC 26) -- Owning a small business during the coronavirus pandemic has been difficult, but many owners prove themselves resilient, while adapting and planning for the future.
Graced on 8th street in Manitowoc has had its own ups and downs. They moved the shop just down the road at 914 South 8th street in the Historic Schuette Building in January. The months to come would be full of unknowns, but owner Natalie Weber Hamilton says thanks to the community, she has felt supported and even able to expand to her business.
"I kind of all along had a dream and I knew that our current space was too small, but there's one next door," said Weber Hamilton.
The addition is expected to be done by November. Weber Hamilton says they plan to take down a portion of the current store's wall to connect the two rooms turning her 1,300 square foot shop into a 2,800 square foot business.
Weber Hamilton says she plans on offering more sizes and variety of clothing in the larger space. She adds that online sales for clothing has been popular and she hopes to offer more for shoppers.
Graced also features seasonal boxes to get a collection of the shop's goodies delivered right to your door. Click HERE to learn more.
