DE PERE (NBC 26) — With another day of beautiful temperatures, some folks were finally able to get back to the “swing” of things. Literally.
Sunday afternoon golfers came out to Ledgeview golf course in De Pere to take advantage of the warmer weather to get outside and practice their form for the upcoming season.
The driving range was filled with individuals looking to get back to doing one of their favorite things.
“For Wisconsin this is warm weather about 40 degrees. First time we had a chance to get out and golf. 40 degrees or above is shorts weather so you have to get out on the range anytime you can,” said Kyler Herzog, De Pere.
The driving range opened up this past Thursday and with even warmer weather the next few days, there is a chance the golf course itself might tentatively be opening up later in the week.
