A GoFundMe has been created for one of the victims involved in a shooting over throwing snowballs.

Two children were taken to the hospital on Jan. 4 after police said they were shot by an unknown suspect. Milwaukee police said that the children and others in a group were throwing snowballs at moving cars, when a driver in a white Toyota that was hit opened fire. A 12-year-old and a 13-year-old were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

It happened on the 6100 block of West Birch St.

A GoFundMe has been created for one of the victims, Nick Johnson. Tamika Johnson, who created the fundraiser, said that Nick and his family have been traumatized by incident.

The fundraiser is for any out-of-pocket medical costs, relocation of the family and daily expenses.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
