Experts say more expensive gas is headed our way.
Analysts predict it could hit close to $3 a gallon by Memorial Day. In Green Bay, prices peaked a round March 8th at around $2.65 a gallon and have slowly dropped.
NBC 26 talked to an analyst from GasBuddy to find out what to expect.
"Ahead of Memorial Day I would expect the trend to go from today's decrease to an increase, potentially mid to late April and into May. By Memorial Day we could be spending a little bit more, but I think that most of the summer, with a lot of caveats, we will probably see average price in Green Bay in the upper two dollar per gallon range,” said Patrick De Haan, Head of Petroleum Analysis for GasBuddy.
Wisconsin's average price is $2.66.
