NEENAH (NBC 26) — Friday, Future Neenah announced the annual A Very Neenah Christmas has been reinvented for 2020 to safely bring the public a month full of festivities for the winter season.

Staff said the month-long celebration would kick off Friday with voting for your favorite downtown store window displays. The voting ends December 31.

Also starting Friday, and going until December 19, is the Downtown Neenah Gingerbread Scavenger Hunt. You will need to find all 12 hidden gingerbread cookies throughout the Downtown district to be entered to win a two-foot tall gingerbread cookie from Festival Foods.

Additionally, make sure to also drop off your letter to Santa at the mailbox in front of the Future Neenah office before December 19 and your child will receive a postcard response from Santa. Just be sure to include your return address so Santa knows where to send the letter!

Scavenger hunt charts and Santa letter forms can be found here on the city's website or be picked up at the Future Neenah office.

On Saturday, December 5, the Community First Credit Union said it will host its Rudolph Run. Although tickets are sold out, you can see others and cheer them on through the hashtag #RunRunRudolphCFCU on social media.

According to Future Neenah, Santa's reindeer will pay a visit to Neenah on December 12 from noon to 2 p.m. The reindeer will be set up with plenty of room for proper social distancing on the Plexus Lawn on the corner of Church and W. Wisconsin Ave. See the reindeer and get your festive cardboard reindeer antlers while supplies last.

Future Neenah said you can get a free holiday tumbler, courtesy of 4imprint, by spending $20 or more shopping in Downtown Neenah. Be sure to bring your proof of purchase to the Future Neenah office to be eligible.

On December 17, staff said Downtown Neenah will be aglow from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. during Luminary Night. Stroll the Downtown Neenah and shop local amid the picturesque holiday atmosphere. There will also be a Cookie Crawl to help satisfy your sweet tooth. For $9 you can buy a cookie passport to collect eight yummy cookies from businesses Downtown. Masks are required to participate.
