KEWAUNEE (NBC 26) — We missed having a white Christmas by just one day, but Winter Park got some real snow on the hill just in time for winter break snow tubing.

“It's really fun to go down the hill," said Anya Wuts. “This one is pretty nice because I don't have to walk up the hill, and I like how steep it is.”

Kids who came out for the first day of Special Winter Break Snow Tubing at Winter Park agree: it's the best way to spend winter break.

“I’d rank it the best hill that I've been to in Green Bay because it's really steep and it's really fun when you go down the first hill," said Carson Narges. "And it's really steep and the snow just decides to go on your face at some point."

"I'd probably rate it like a seven and a half," said Mitchell Pilon. "It's really fun.”

The Special Winter Break Snow Tubing dates and times are December 28th through December 30th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and January 2nd from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Snow tubing is a lot of fun... with a little bit of fear too, said Narges.

“For me is a little bit scary," he said. "But you get used to it after a little bit and it's really fun. You can bring your friends out here and you'll have fun going down with them together."

"My favorite parts like when you get to the really steep part and then going really fast," said Pilon.

Everyone has their favorite winter activities.

“Christmas, playing in the snow and drinking hot chocolate," said Bennett Berg.

“I like snowmobiling, ice skating, tubing," said Wuyts. "A lot of things.”

They all agree it’s not winter without some real snow.

“I just like a little bit of snow to bring Christmas joy to Green Bay," said Narges.
