GREEN BAY, Wis — If you're looking for some free outdoor fun this summer the City of Green Bay is hosting its annual Supervised Playground Program.

Now in its 90th year, the program is offered at 35 parks throughout Green Bay. Each playground will be supervised by "Parkees" or playground supervisors. A variety of organized activities and special events, games, and sports will be offered.

"Ping pong, dodgeball, capture the flag. We just really get the kids engaged in outside activities. On rainy days we stay in the shelter, do some drawings and board games. We just keep kids active throughout the summer," says playground supervisor, Hayley Hilbert.

There is no fee or preregistration to participate in the program. It is open to all children ages 6 to 16. Anyone under the age of 7 will need an additional adult present.

The program is partnering with Green Bay Area Public School District to offer free lunches to children at various park sites through August.
