OSHKOSH, Wis. — Fox Valley Pro Basketball gets the funding to help pull the organization out of bankruptcy.

Wednesday a court approved $500,000 towards its Chapter 11 reorganization efforts. The funding is in addition to the $400,000 from the City of Oshkosh.

The Menominee Nation Arena says the new funds will "help the organization become profitable and propose a plan of reorganization that will allow Fox Valley Pro Basketball to exit Chapter 11," according to the press release.

“We are very pleased with the efforts of all parties involved to work toward resolving Fox Valley Pro Basketball’s financial issues,” said Jerome R. Kerkman Legal representative for Fox Valley Pro Basketball.

The Menominee Nation Arena is home to the Wisconsin Herd, Wisconsin GLO and Fox Valley Roller Derby.
