FOX CROSSING (NBC 26) -- Fox Crossing Police is warning the public about gift card scams after two victims spent thousands on the scam last week.
The police department received two different calls last Wednesday where the victims spent thousands in gift cards "for fake tech support," police said.
Police want to remind the public that that any phone inquiries offering these services are all bogus.
Police said scammers will try to elicit either money or personal information from you for their own gains, offering no legitimate services.
