GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- A former counselor at Green Bay Southwest High School now faces federal charges related to child pornography.

Todd Naze is accused of secretly recording people in a bathroom at the school. Authorities say some of the people caught on camera were underage students. A criminal complaint says more than 30 women and girls were identified in videos Naze is accused of making. 17 of the victims are current or former students.

According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney of the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Naze could face a minimum of 15 years in prison if convicted.

Naze is charged with six counts of production of child pornography. He appeared in federal court Wednesday and was ordered to be held in jail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 20.
