FOND DU LAC (NBC 26) — Police said a 19-year-old Fond du Lac man was seriously injured from a shooting Friday night.
The Fond du Lac Police Department said callers reported gunshots in the area of South Seymour Street and West Division Street near Playmore Park around 9 p.m. Callers said they saw two vehicles leaving the area.
Officers said they found evidence on scene indicating a possible shooting happened. Shortly after the initial call, they responded to the hospital emergency room where a 19-year-old Fond du Lac man checked in with a gunshot wound.
According to police, the victim was related to the gunshots heard. They said the man is in serious but stable condition.
Investigators said they recovered two vehicles believed to be involved in the shooting. They are working to identify other victims or possible suspects.
