FOND DU LAC, Wis. — A 19-year-old Fond du Lac man is in jail on preliminary charges of attempted homicide.
Fond du Lac Police found a 73-year-old man with severe injuries at an apartment complex Tuesday afternoon. Police say the man had been beaten, with injuries to his head and hand. Police say the victim was taken by helicopter to Theda Care Regional Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect, a 19-year-old Fond du Lac man, knew the victim. Sun Prairie Police found him a few hours later in a vehicle police say was stolen.
He is currently being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on preliminary charges of Attempted Homicide and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent.
