Fond du Lac County Health Department provided a new update on coronavirus Friday.
The Fond du Lac County Health Officer announced Friday a new order to close barber and cosmetology shops, nail salons, massage parlors and tattoo/body art places. The closures will take effect at 5 p.m. Friday. The closures are due to the fact that workers and customers in these businesses will be in close contact for longer than 10 minutes.
Restaurants in Fond du Lac County may only remain open for take-out and delivery. Dining rooms must close and take-out orders must be taken over the phone or online prior to a customer arriving at the restaurant. Customers may also not self-dispense condiments.
Grocery stores and gas stations may remain open, but they must stop providing seating for consuming food and stop providing self-serve for food and drinks, such as salad bars and coffee.
