GREEN BAY, Wis. — It was a perfect day for kids and families to be outside at the Fly A Kite Fest in Green Bay.
The celebration included a day full of free fun, from kite-flying to other activities and relaxation.
Leaders of the event said it's a special day.
"It's great to see all kinds of other community members coming out to not only volunteer but support such a great cause and have fun with the activities and see lots of smiling faces," Kimberly Pampel said.
Profits from the event go to help support Family and Childcare Resources of Northeast Wisconsin.
