TOWN OF SCOTT, Wis. — The Brown County Sheriff's Office said two men from Illinois were ice fishing on the Bay of Green Bay and stranded after the ice broke.

Officials said they responded Sunday around 1:25 a.m. in the Town of Scott. The fishermen were reported to be on a chunk of ice nearly 300 yards from Volk's Landing.

The Sheriff's Office used an air boat to rescue the two men.

They said the men were unharmed.
