Firefighters put out sign fire at Green Bay Walgreens

GREEN BAY, Wis. — A sign at Walgreens suffered about $5000 in damages due to a fire.

Green Bay Metro Fire was called to the Walgreens on the corner of West Mason and Oneida Streets for reports of a sign on fire.

Crews had to cut open the wall where they found an active fire behind the sign on the building.

The fire was quickly put out.

It's unknown what caused the fire.
