STOCKBRIDGE, Wis. — Firefighters responded to a house fire in Stockbridge on Saturday.
Officials said that the home is a total loss.
Firefighters said that the home had heavy smoke damage when they arrived on scene.
It forced first responders to get out of the house and be defensive in battling the flames.
All of the people at the home are okay and getting help from the Red Cross.
Stockbridge fire officials thanked the departments that responded from their call for mutual aid.
