GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Metro Fire Department battled a fire at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Occupants evacuated the 5 story hotel around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Crews found smoke in the area of the laundry room on the first floor.
The sprinkler system kept the fire under control so crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
Occupants were then allowed to return back into the hotel.
No injuries were reported.
Damage estimates are $25,000.
