GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Festival Foods announced Thursday that that shoppers donated more than $431,000 to the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign in 2019.
Festival Foods says the shoppers at its 33 stores throughout Wisconsin dropped about $389,000 in cash in the traditional red kettles. $42,000 was added to shoppers’ grocery totals at Festival Foods checkouts.
In addition to money raised, Festival Foods employees rang bells in stores company-wide on Dec. 13.
One hundred percent of donations added at the checkout and at the Red Kettles are passed along to the Salvation Army, the food store said.
