GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) -
Fire crews rescued a person from a window and seven people were displaced in Green Bay Tuesday after an apartment fire that was sparked by unattended cooking, according to a news release.
Crews were called to the 800 block of North Webster Avenue at 4 p.m., and found smoke and flames once on scene.
As heavy smoke blocked an exit, a person was rescued from a window and taken down a ladder, the news release said.
No one was hurt.
