BEAVER, WI. (NBC 26) — Law enforcement reported a fatal vehicle rollover crash that killed one person Saturday around 4:30 a.m.
The Marinette County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened on E. 6th road in the Town of Beaver.
Deputies said a caller reported a vehicle left and returned to the road multiple times before going off the road on the north side, crashing through a power pole, rolling over and coming to a stop upside-down. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies identified the driver as 36-year-old Bernardo Diaz of Mexico. He was living in the Town of Beaver and working on a nearby farm.
According to the Sheriff's Office, an initial investigation shows speed and alcohol were factors in this crash.
The crash remains under investigation. No further information has been released at this time.
