UPDATE: The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the names of those involved in the fatal crash yesterday on CTH G/Scray Hill Road. The driver of the pick-up is James Schott from the Kiel area. James remains hospitalized at this time. The pedestrian, driver of the semi-tractor/trailer who was killed, is Eric Anderson of the De Pere area.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone that witnessed the tractor/trailer parked on the side of the road and/or anyone walking around it or on the road just prior to the crash to call 920-448-4241 with that information. Please leave a message if no one answers and your call will be returned.

BROWN COUNTY -- One person has died in a crash that remains under investigation in the Town of Ledgeview.
The Brown County Sheriff's Office said that a pick-up crashed into the back of a low-boy trailer that was stopped on the side of the road to off-load a bulldozer. Deputies responded to the crash around 7:18 a.m. Monday on CTH G just east of Scray’s Hill Road in front of Ledgeview Golf Course.
The Sheriff's Office stated the pick-up spun around and flipped after crashing into the trailer. The pick-up driver was thrown onto the roadway and the person off-loading the bull dozer was hit during the crash. The male who was off-loading the bull dozer was pronounced dead at the scene. The pick-up driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Brown County Sheriff's Office said investigators don't know the cause of the crash at this time. The names of the people involved in the crash are not being released until family is notified.
BRSO is working a fatal crash scene on CTH G in the Town of Ledgeview. CTH G will be closed at Bower Creek and Dollar Ln for the next 3-4 hours. Nothing being released.
