GREEN BAY (NBC 26) - The Farmers' Market on Broadway has moved to Leicht Memorial Park due to coronavirus. Organizers say this was a way to still offer the market, but also implement several safe guards to prevent the spread of illness.

Market Manager, Chelsea Kocken says that by moving the market to the park they can limit capacity to 1000 people. On any given sunny, beautiful summer day, the Farmers' Market on Broadway can draw up to 10,000 people.

All vendors and staff will be wearing a mask. Organizers say the recommend a mask, however it is not required. The market will also have shorten hours for the time being. Instead of the usually 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. it will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays through September 30th.

Kocken says they are continually adjusting if they need to since the coronavirus concerns continue to change daily. She says they are open to changes throughout the season. For updates and further recommendations, follow the market on their Facebook page or by visiting their website.
