TOWN OF SAINT LAWRENCE (NBC 26) — At 6:31 p.m. Monday, the Waupaca County Sheriff's Communication Center received a 911 call of a 2-year-old boy involved in a farming accident in the town of Saint Lawrence.
The boy was riding in a skid steer, fell forward and was briefly pinned between the bucket and support arm, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The 2-year-old was transported by ThedaStar to Thedacare Medical Center Neenah and was transferred to Children's Hospital of Milwaukee, where he died.
Names are being withheld pending investigation.
Waupaca County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Iola Area Ambulance, Ogdensburg/Saint Lawrence Area First Responders, Gold Cross, Theda Star Air Medical and Ogdensburg/Saint Lawrence Area Fire Department.
