GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin has been operating their Healthy Families Program for the past 16 years out of a rented building from the Catholic Diocese on Riverside Drive.

When an opportunity came to acquire the building at 515 S. Monroe Avenue, it was the perfect more to be in the downtown area to connect with other resource providers, but to also be closer to their main office at 300 Crooks Street.

The facility has been completely renovated to better serve the program which helps brand new parents. The Vice President of the program, Angela Steuck tells us that there are a lot of anxieties that come along with being a new parent and they are there to help families through those challenges.

Steuck says they have been continuing to serve even with their physical offices closed. They have been reaching out virtually and if someone can not connect virtually, they have been doing phone calls and some meetings in person, typically just outside the home. She adds that the most important thing right now is that they don't want anyone to suffer in silence.

If you or someone you know is in need of help or guidance you can reach Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin at (920) 436-6800 in Green Bay and (920) 739-4226 in Menasha.

They also have several other resources on their website.
