CHILTON (NBC26) -- It's been a wet, soggy summer and its continued into the fall. There are dozens of places for fall fun activities to check out in Northeast Wisconsin. Polly's Pumpkin Patch has been nestled in Chilton for about two decades on the Juckem Family Farm.

The farm has been apart of the Juckem Family for 130 years. It's a fun interactive learning space to several school districts and even has a partnership with the Chilton FFA group to continue agriculture education.

Every year Polly Roland and her husband, Gary Juckem, welcome families to enjoy the change of the seasons at the farm with hayrides, pumpkin picking, kid-friendly activities and their giant slide.

"Our slide is so popular, even our dog, Dottie loves to jump in and follow the kids down it. My 89-year-old dad even loves it," said Roland.

The weather has put a damper on some of the fall fun. Owners at Polly's Pumpkin Patch say they've had to close its maze a handful of times this year, but only when its been too muddy or there has been thunder or lightning.

"We have to watch the weather reports, but we also have to be honest. We have closed the maze before and people will show up and say, we've got our boots, so now we've started keeping the maze open when we can and families still have fun. It's muddy and dirty and the kids love it!" said Roland.

Polly says the best way to plan a trip out to Chilton to get in your fall family experience is by first checking their Facebook or by giving them a call to see if the maze is open.

Polly's Pumpkin Patch is open daily at 9 a.m. and are located at N4367 State Road 57 in Chilton.
