GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Encompass leaders launched the public phase of its campaign: “For the Children: A Campaign to Fully Encompass Families”.
Encompass serves more than 1,300 children in Brown County. The organization is working to raise $5 million.
Leaders say that money will build the endowment fund for the 100-year-old nonprofit.
"Our endowment fund then can on an annual basis give back to the organization for early support salaries for staff, excellence in early care and education and also affordability of care for working families,” said Sue Vincent with Encompass.
They are currently halfway to the $5 million.
