KESHENA (NBC 26) — An early-morning fire has destroyed a key building at Menominee Tribal Enterprises.
Company leaders say the fire destroyed the facility’s stacker building. The structure and its equipment are considered a total loss. Some lumber inventory was also damaged.

All employees are safe, and no injuries were reported.
Production operations are shut down for the day as the company assesses the damage and determines next steps. Leaders say they are focused on recovery and maintaining operations moving forward.
The MTE store and main office remain open during regular business hours.
Menominee Tribal Enterprises thanked emergency responders for their swift response and the community for its support.
