APPLETON (NBC 26) -- Downtown Appleton is spelling out a message of hope in a big way this holiday season. The oversized letters in Houdini Plaza are a reminder that better times are ahead.
"Just a reminder to us that a better time is coming, and we need to stand strong and stand together. It'll spell out ‘HOPE’ for a couple of months here, we'll have the HOPE letters up here in Houdini Plaza until March,” said Jennifer Stephany, the Executive Director of Appleton Downtown, Inc.
Other window and light displays are set up all across Appleton.
