MANITOWOC COUNTY (NBC 26) — Authorities say a man is in jail following a stabbing that injured two people in the village of Reedsville.

Just before 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon, the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office said officers and EMS responded to an apartment in the 500 block of Menasha Street for two people who had been stabbed with a knife.

The Sheriff's Office said the suspect, identified as 27-year-old Jesus Sanchez-Delgadillo, had fled the scene and was headed to Green Bay.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the suspect arrived at the apartment and met with the two victims, one of whom he knew. The victims were only identified as a man and a woman, both in their 20s. The Sheriff's Office said the suspect "became upset" and stabbed the two victims with a pocket knife.

Both victims were taken to a hospital and are in stable condition.

Green Bay Police officers detained Sanchez-Delgadillo. The suspect was then taken to the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office where investigators interviewed him.

Sanchez-Delgadillo was arrested on two charges of substantial battery, with additional charges being considered, the sheriff's office said. Sanchez-Delgadillo is being held in Manitowoc County Jail and is expected in court Monday afternoon.
