LITTLE CHUTE (NBC 26) -- The Fox Valley Metro Police Department said a dog attacked a child in the Village of Little Chute.
The attack was reported around 4pm Sunday. Police say a dog running around attacked a nine-year-old who was playing football in a field near the intersection of E. North Avenue and Buchanan Street.
According to police, the child suffered serious injuries to their face and arms.
The dog was described as a brown dog with a black snout. It had a short tail and folded ears. The dog did not appear to have a collar.
Police say the dog was last seen running southbound on Taylor Street in Little Chute.
