The DNR is encouraging hunters of all ages to celebrate their first hunt with a free first harvest and first hunting experience certificate.
Hunters just need to head to the DNR website and select which species or experience to celebrate. You can customize the certificate with a photograph and details about your first hunt.
"We want to be a part of that, to celebrate with folks. Them getting involved with the outdoors. And to give them a memento to cherish the occasion as well as encourage them to continue and to enjoy the best that Wisconsin outdoors has to offer," said DNR Assistant Big Game Specialist, Matt Gross.
Hunters can expect to receive their certificate electronically within a few weeks of submitting the form.
