MANITOWOC (NBC 26) — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Manitowoc Police Department announced it will not be holding the annual bow hunting meeting to discuss the 2020 archery season. Paperwork is still available online and in-person to participate this season.
All bow hunting and land owner applications can be obtained and submitted on the City of Manitowoc website, under the Police Department page. Alternatively, you can go to the front counter of the police department Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
Officers said all applications need to be submitted by September 4 in order to be processed by the start of the archery season. They said applications received after that date may be delayed in approval.
The Department reminds all bow hunting applicants requesting to hunt on private land must have a land owner's application attached to your bow hunting application when turned in, as it will be denied until such paperwork is obtained.
