DALE (NBC 26) — The Dale Fire Department announced the loss of one of their own Tuesday.
An obituary linked on the Dale Fire & Rescue Facebook page said Firefighter/Driver Operator Raymond Samson died after a battle with COVID-19. The fire department said Samson died Saturday at age 55.
The obituary said Samson is survived by his wife and siblings, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The obituary also thanked the medical professionals who cared for Samson in the end, calling them "angels on Earth."
