KAUKAUNA, Wis. — Fire crews battled a fire at a manufacturing business in Kaukauna.
It started around 12:30 a.m. Friday at Roloff Manufacturing Corporation on the 400 block of Gertrude Street.
Firefighters found smoke and flames.
Crews quickly attacked the fire and knocked it down. The fire did spread to the roof of the building and took some time to completely put out.
Firefighters said there was some difficulty accessing the fire due to the different roof levels.
Officials say it seems to have been caused from some boards used when making products that were left warm by the manufacturing process.
The fire is estimated to have caused about $100,000 in damages.
