State Senator Dan Feyen sent Governor Evers a letter Thursday, asking him to formulate a plan and keep the World Dairy Expo here in Wisconsin.
In his letter, State Senator Feyen said he read that the World Dairy Expo was considering leaving Wisconsin for another state due to COVID-19 protocols and regulations.
“The reason we sent a letter to the Governor is we cannot figure out why they’re not giving certainty to the World Dairy Expo, on, ‘Yes, you can have this, but only by having certain parameters in place’, but by not giving a definite answer is having the World Dairy Expo start looking elsewhere, and we cannot afford to lose World Dairy Expo,” Senator Feyen said.
The 54th World Dairy Expo begins on September 28th at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.
