GREENVILLE — More and more companies are using robots - that's why Greenville’s Q-Comp Technologies is expanding, adding 10,000 square feet and hiring workers.
Company executives say the growth is due to more and more companies in the Fox Valley and across the country using robots as part of their business.
NBC26 talked to company officials about the demand. They say people and companies are calling for more robots because of the labor shortage and need for workers.
“Robotic applications seem to be extremely efficient and reliable it can be a cost-effective way to supplement workforce labor,” says Mark Wild Exec. Vice President, Owner's Edge.
Q Comp is also looking for engineers and programmers to join their team and they expect to see the need increase even more in the months ahead.
