HORTONVILLE (NBC 26) — Are you looking to build or remodel in the near future?

You might just be in luck.

This weekend the Home Builders Association of the Fox Cities kicked of their Parade of Homes event.

This event featured 15 homes showcasing new trends and styles.

Local builders say the pandemic hasn’t stopped people from home projects and in fact they have seen an increase in demand.

“Home building doesn’t seem to be slowing down despite schedules, if anything it seems to be full steam ahead regardless, of prices, schedules, the labor shortage, everything seems to be busy. I don’t foresee that slowing down for the remaining of these year”, said Brian Calmes, owner of Calmes & Rohm Construction.

Calmes said this is certainly a great way for people to get ideas and see interior designs firsthand.

The Parade of Homes is expected to continue next weekend.
