Clintonville closes schools to prevent coronavirus spreading

CLINTONVILLE, Wis. (NBC 26) -- Clintonville Public Schools will be closed for at least a week in order to prevent the spreading of coroanvirus.

Superintendent David Dyb says Clintonville schools will be closed March 14 through March 22 at the earliest. There is currently no confirmed cased within the school district.

According to Dyb's letter to school district families, they are closing schools and canceling all activities in the interest of prevention and containment of the virus.

The Clintonville School District will continue to monitor the situation surrounding coronavirus and extend school closure if necessary.
