GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- The 6th annual BRAS of the Bay event winner will be announced Thursday virtually.
The event is hosted by Plastic Surgery & Skin Specialists at BayCare Clinic.
The goal is to close the loop on breast cancer and raise awareness about breast reconstruction rights for breast cancer patients.
Federal law mandates insurance coverage of breast reconstruction for most breast cancer patients.
The BRAS of the Bay event includes a bra decorating contest.
Public voting for the bras will take place online Monday, October 19th through Thursday, October 22nd.
Four winners will be announced during a live-streamed event on BayCare Clinic Facebook Page at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Donations are being collected in lieu of ticket sales. Every $20 donated will enter you in a drawing for a chance to win a prize.
