SHAWANO CO. (NBC 26) — One man has died and another injured after a rollover crash New Year's Day. Deputies believe alcohol is a factor.
It happened just after 5 p.m. on Valley Road in the Town of Hartland. The Sheriff's Office said a passerby saw the vehicle resting on its roof in the ditch and called it in.
The driver, a 19-year-old Bonduel man, was partially ejected and entrapped in the vehicle. He was taken to a medical facility for injuries. Meanwhile the passenger, a 56-year-old man, was pronounced dead on scene.
Deputies are still investigating; there's no other information at this time.
