BELLEVUE, Wis. (NBC 26) -- The pandemic has certainly impacted our area businesses, but one local juicery is opening its third location this month as people are using this time to focus on health and wellness.

Bona Fide Juicery has been serving cold-pressed juice and other healthy options since 2017, with shops in Appleton and De Pere.

A new location is now coming to Bellevue.

"After going through almost a year of pandemic, people know that boosting their immunity and just keeping themselves healthy is important to do," said Nicole Lindquist, the co-owner of Bona Fide Juicery. "We have seen a lot of people coming in for that."

They offer more than 25 different flavors of juice and come up with new ones seasonally.

The demand is high for juices, soups and smoothie bowls.

"We introduce a lot of things that our normal customer wouldn't have like medicinal mushrooms in our coffee, or watermelon radishes and fennel in our salads," said Payton Jaeger, the head juicer at Bona Fide Juicery.

"All of our options that we serve are fresh and we prep everything every single day," said Lindquist.

They currently employ 25 people and hope to add 8 more with the addition of the Bellevue shop.

Located at 2670 Monroe Road, owners are expecting lots of business in this high traveled area.

They're planning to offer lots of grab and go options and hope to one day have a drive-thru window.

"We've spent a lot of time making sure our items taste good as well as be good for you," said Lindquist.

"It really is a positive place to work for," said Jaeger. "It's fun helping guide people dosn that path they want to go down."

Their goal is to open at the end of January depending on how construction goes.

They'll announce their finalized opening date on social media.
