A body was found Wednesday in the area of Lake Winnebago where authorities were searching for two missing canoers.
Deputies previously said they were looking for two 21-year-old men from Fond du Lac.
The body recovered Wednesday matched the description of one of the missing men, deputies said. Family will assist in positive identification, deputies said.
Deputies first got the call Monday night from the canoers who were out on the lake and in distress, which led to the search.
The effort to find the other missing canoer will continue Thursday.
