GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- With the arrival of September, the days of having fun at Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay are winding down.
The park was faced with some challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic and responded by limiting guests, adding more sanitizing stations and an emphasis on disinfecting the rides.
"We were probably down to around 30% of our normal capacity. But what that made for was those that did come out got to go on the rides quicker, didn't have to wait in line and really got to have a lot more fun. So, from that standpoint, the whole summer was worth it. You got to see families out here having fun and getting something normal to do,” said Manager Jason Arnoldi.
Bay Beach Amusement Park is closed today and tomorrow but will open up for three final days this Labor Day weekend.
