MANITOWOC, Wis. — Preliminary results of an autopsy on a man accused of throwing an explosive in front of his ex-girlfriend's house were released Monday.

According to Manitowoc Police, a woman came to the police department on Friday evening to report her ex-boyfriend was violating a restraining order. While at the station, police say the woman got a phone call stating the woman’s ex-boyfriend may have thrown some sort of flammable/explosive device in front of her home on Raton Court.

Officers went to the ex-boyfriend's home on 25th Street, where police say he ran from a vehicle to inside the home and barricaded himself inside. Authorities set up a perimeter around the house and tried to resolve the standoff with the suspect for several hours.

After not hearing from the suspect for some time, police entered the home and found 49-year-old Antonio Lujan dead in a bedroom.

An autopsy was performed Monday at the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office. According to a news release, the Forensic Pathologist did not find any significant external or internal trauma to the decedent. The cause of death will be pending further studies including toxicology.
