WAUPACA COUNTY (NBC 26) — A male suspect grabbed a nine-year-old girl after she got off the school bus Friday afternoon, according to the Waupaca County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office said it happened at around 3:45 p.m. on Lamplighter Lane in the township of Farmington.
According to authorities, a male suspect was hiding in the bushes on the side of a driveway. He then came out of the bushes and grabbed the girl's wrist, the Sheriff's Office said. Authorities say the suspect walked the girl into a wooded area, but got spooked and ran away. The girl ran back to her house.
The suspect is described as 5'9" and weighing about 200 pounds. He was wearing black jeans, black shoes, a thin black jacket, and a black ski mask.
